The finest picture of recent postings!   Great!  Makes my old Chevy look modern, too.  Thanks for posting this one, Galen55.

I wonder what the sales pitch sounded like for one of those old cars.  Maybe, "This one comes with optional windows" or "You could plow a field with this one" or "You won't get stuck in a rut with this powerful 25 horse engine".

Ever read newspaper auto ads from c.1920?  ...or even c.1915?  When compared to modern newspapers, I was surprised to find very similar verbiage used to describe new & used automobiles. My point: I think you'd be shocked if you actually heard a 100 year old sales pitch; I believe it wouldn't be much different from what's said today.

Of course, words and phrases like "Navigation, Gesture Motion, Self Driving and LKA" would probably not be part of the conversation. .....LOL 😀

My favorite used car phrase is "previously enjoyed".

A sales hook is the same over time immorial.  I would be curious as to what benefits they quoted that the cars offered.  Had to be lifestyle or a labor savings of some sort.
