It helps that we live in the headwaters of the French Broad River of western North Carolina. These two falls are in the headwaters of the French Broad. I had fun manipulating this picture so I could fit it for printing. (taken by my son. I don't go down to the base of many falls.) I'm sitting with my daughter-in-law just behind the wooden fence between the falls, top & center of the picture.
