Well, I'm going to go for the DeSoto too, but I'm also going to go for the Buick as well. For one of the rare times, and I don't like doing it, I'm voting a TIE between the two cars. But I vote a tie because both cars to my eyes were solid knockouts for 55.

I especially like the DeSoto for 1955. It is a fresh and forward looking design.

I'm going with the DeSoto. I particularly like the DeSoto's grill and rear quarters, but the Buick is a close second.

Both cars do it for me, but I'm going with the Special. A longtime fan as these were very popular in my neighborhood when I was growing up.
