@bob-jackman I always buy the donuts with the coconut or peanuts on top the icing; that way it's basically a health bar.

The blonde next door kept gaining weight and asked us if we could figure out why. She said she ate nothing but 'health bars'.

I checked them out and suggested that she apparently was a bad speller. I told her that there was no "L" in her health bars  -  they were HEATH BARS!

Nah, you simply have to learn to use just your tongue to get at the low-cal centre. It's an acquired skill. Possibly not the greatest taste experience ever, but will certainly help avoid unwanted weight gain. Of course the resulting frustration could drive you to drink, leading to an overall increase in calorie intake. it's a trade-off, really. (Personally I tend to skip the donuts and go straight for the brandy.)

@graeme-ogg Graeme; now you're talking jelly or cream filled donuts, which is another category altogether, bordering on hedonism.....particularly given your recommended filling retrieval method.  Fyi....we never have them at Think Tank(ed) meetings....part of our "keep fit/keeping up appearances" program.  We Forumites do support your choice of brandy however.

@jack-dodds Jack, I'm guessing your doctor wouldn't be amused either.

I dunno Bob; whenever he opens my file he chuckles and shakes his head so I think he's basically a happy person.
