Wow, so many Vettes. I was choosing cars by what I would be interested in buying for my everyday daily driver and a Vette just doesn't qualify for me. Tough to drive every day in Jan. Feb. where I lived and for some reason I carry more than one other person with me quite a bit in those days.

I ordered a 1972 Stingray in the fall of '71. It was my first of 3 Corvettes. It was my daily driver. It was also my 'baby'. I drove it in cold conditions that I was not happy with but had relatively no trouble. The other two were not primary transportation and another vehicle did the 'dirty work'.
I would consider a Dart, Chevelle SS, and a Torino fast back.
This was the year for Mopars. Dodge Dart Gt, Plymouth GTX, Dodge Coronet Super Bee
