I was around in 1969 and did buy a muscle car....it was a Buick Skylark hardtop GS 400. A torque monster but like all US made cars back then, quality control was minimal. I had friends who had examples from Ford and Dodge which were no better.

For me, 69 will be hard to pick just three cars. Camaro RS SS, Road Runner, Mustang Boss 302.

John B. this era of AMX and Javelin were very attractive and fast cars.  I don't think they were rightfully appreciated back in the day.
