1975, you are 25 years old and you just came into some money and decided to buy a new car for your everyday uses, what would be your top three choices in the order of the most desired.

PS; [American] has been removed.

I bought a 1975 Chevy Monte Carlo in 1975 for my wife. Our daughter named it the Mommy Carlo.

Nearly the twin of this one, same color, but it had the fancy wheels.

@perrone1, I had a 75 in dark blue with the swivel seats. I put a four-barrell manifold on it and dual exhaust. It was a quick cruiser with most of the smog equipment removed and adjustments made.

How cool John! Ours had the swivel driver seat too. They were really nice cars. Not sure what carb we had; it was the 350 V8. Our actual car, 1975 Texas:

My cousins boy friend, later husband, had a 1975 Chevelle Laguna S3 in black swivel seats and maybe a 454, not sure. Later her brother was given the car.  That's my first choice.

Then the Chrysler Cordoba with it's rich Corinthein leather. Just for it's fun factor, an OPEL GT.

'75 bought the wife a used '72 Plymouth Sport Suburban.  Wife and kids named it the banana boat. In the next 4 years she managed to dent every panel on the car.

Here are my non-conventional choices. I owned the first one in 1975. The ride was fabulous in every condition of road.
