many, but mostly positive....
The tail resembles a '51 Mercury.
Not bad. Would be much improved without the split window and a color change.
John Bono
North Jersey
Saw it on display at the Grand National Roadster Show in 2006 - 2008, don't remember the exact year and it's breathtaking. Though I'm not really a fan of over-the-top full customs, the craftsmanship and design quality of this one are impressive. I believe it is owned by a rock band guitarist whose name escapes me. Nice car but I prefer them a bit less modified and in a more conventional color. Thanks for asking.
James Hartfield of Metallica. This is one of the ten hotrod customs he donated to the Petersen Museum.

looks like a fun ride...
Thanks, John, I believe his last name is Hetfield and my son, a life-long rocker, and I talked with him for a few minutes about the car and Metallica. I believe that he also had an early 50's Oldsmobile that sat very low and was a driver, not a show car. He's definitely a car guy.
Many popular rock musicians/stars also have car collections, I'd love to see in person the vintage race car collection of Nick Mason who was the drummer for Pink Floyd.
