That is so true!
Our dog died 2 days ago, we had him for 13 years, we miss him so much.

Beautiful little dog Chav. I hate it that they grow old so quickly. My Bella is 12 already. Dogs provide so much love and affection. I'm sorry for your loss and that of your family. Thank goodness for memories.

So sorry to hear this Chav. They get into our hearts and become such an integral part of our lives; it is so sad they eventually have to leave us.

Sorry to hear Chav. They are just like your kids when they are around for so long. I have 2 that will be 14 next month. They are brothers and still act like they are pups. We have been very fortunate, but I regret that day when they are gone.

Chav Lori and I know well the feeling of loss. We have been married for 58 years and never had children, at least not biological. Throughout our marriage we have adopted over fifty dogs and cats and while I can't totally relate the love of a child, I can't imagine ever loving any greater then we have had for our fur babies. Each time we have lost one of our babies it has taken something out of us but in the end we have always gotten more from our pets than we could ever have imagined. Take comfort in knowing your pup was loved and given a home where it was safe.

My sympathy goes out to you and your family with passing of your dog. They are family in every sense of the word. I've endured the loss of four dogs since my youth to now, and their unconditional love was cherished beyond words. I feel your loss and pain. Loved your photos, thanks for sharing.
