Back in the days of enhancement supplements.....you could find a comfortable place to lie by the Lava Lamp, accompanied by Steppenwolf on a looping 8-track....spend a few hours contemplating the improbable concept of a Lead (sp) Zeppelin......then move on to the sometimes even trickier like "Tubular Bells"................... 🙃 🤤 😪 😴
Mike Oldfield was amazing. But, for me, the real mind-blower was Tomita and his album "Pictures at an Exhibition" and "The Great Gate of Kiev," all synth and groundbreaking for its time.

this one would keep you on the floor until Saturday.....regardless of when you first began to listen.....the "mess with you" stuff begins 6:50 or so
@john-barry, fascinating! "Picture At An Exhibition" was originally written by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky (I had to look it up).
