Awwwww.......little angels!
Love those critters. Our Barkley is an 80 pound yellow lab/ golden retriever mix.

Our granddog Georgie...certified as untrainable. AKA the cockapoo from hell. For what they spent on trainers they could have bought a Buick. I'd sooner hang with Georgie than with people. Always ready to play ball. True Love for sure.

We lost our beloved little pal (min. poodle/terrier cross) Otis a couple of weeks ago at age 12. He went down suddenly from heart failure...only two days from running around normally to gone....which I suppose is a blessing, all things considered. We are of course devastated but are very appreciative of the joy he gave us for all of those years and his memory will always be with us. I mentioned to my wife that his life was a complete success; he provided joy and love and positivity literally every day of his life...never a negative. I mentioned to her that I wish I could say the same for myself. RIP Otis.....thank you and may God bless.
Jack, our pets give great joy and comfort for the time we spend with them. Unfortunately that time is always less than we wish as their lives are shorter than ours. Over my life, I have had many delightful companions and I remember and appreciate them even though they are now gone. I am sure that your family feel the same way.
Otis is gone but will be long remembered with fondness.
So sorry to hear that Jack. Our sincere condolences; been through it too many times and feel your pain - God bless & RIP Otis!!
One of the most heartwarming tributes anyone who's ever loved a dog will ever hear.... assuming, that is, you can get through it.
