Not using turn signal shows a blatant disregard towards fellow drivers.
Sadly, I have a friend who fits your description of people who don't use their turn signals. What's even worse is me and others have mentioned many times to him that the lever on the left of the steering wheel is extremely easy to use with a little finger. Do you know what is constant response to us is? He says, "I know where I'm going". When we say back, "But by not using your turn signals, we don't know what you're doing". He won't budge on it. He just WON'T use his signals. For sure a blatant disregard towards fellow drivers!!! I've literally called him a jerk!

Not sure they were ever optional. Outside rearview mirrors used to be. But when I took my driver's test, there were still cars around that did not have turn signals/lane change indicators and we had to demonstrate to the test officer, hand signals - left turn, right turn, slow and stop.Aren’t turn signals optional on cars?
I was actually being facetious…so many people FAIL to use their turn signals when they most definitely should…
