I'm going to dispute the "three 2-barrel carburetors" thing...Oldsmobile introduced the very 1st "tri-power" in 1957 (even though Pontiac coined the phrase "tri-power"); Mopar first introduced them as the "six-pack" (Dodge) and/or "six-barrel" (Plymouth) in 1969...

@terryslekar, thanks for listening! You may have to the carb issue up with Greg. I know the current owner added dual exhausts. It's possible the three carb setup was added by the Pettys or by a subsequent owner.
It's also possible I had cotton in my ears and completely misunderstood.

No problem - the early Hemi's could be had with dual 4-barrels, but no triple 2-barrels until '69...so it must've been an addition by a 3rd party.

Chrysler 440, 3X2= 1350 CFM, 426 hemi, 2X4= 1250, Race Hemi= 1540, 440, single 4 bbl= 650 CFM and of course the owner can get more CFM if willing to spend for after market.
Another great, informative clip JK. I have this one and absolutely love it. I'm getting the coral/grey/ivory version as well; it will be gorgeous with the upgrade wheels!
@jack-dodds, Yes! I'm in line for the tri-tone as well.

Great review and what a magnificent '56 Dodge station wagon model !
The tri tone is the one I am waiting for as well. Has Greg updated an available date?
