I'm with you here too, John. Changes in the bands line-up over the years have been contoversial. When Lindsay Buckingham left the band in a fit of pique just before the Tango In The Night tour of the late 80s, his place was taken by Billy Burnett and the guitar players guitar player, technically precise, Pennsylvania born Rick Vito.
Here is a clip from that period.

Sadly Lindsay B. was back in again but now out, apparently permanently.
I was really disappointed when Christine McVie left years ago; she really made things blend nicely vocally. Their Rumors album of 77-78 is still my fave by far.

That's the most I have ever seen Lindsay B. rip it up. Awesome!

Now, Fleetwood Mac have a new guitar player. Niel Finn, ex- Splitenz and Crowded House......
Niel Finn is from New Zealand.

Not ripping it up in quite the same way but, Buckinghams playing here on I'm so afraid, is pretty soulful.
Here it is.
Slow to start, but picks up about half way through.

Yes, I was aware of that; he should work out very well for FM.
