One of the most versitile entertainers ever.
She was comfortable with any style.

I loved every song she ever recorded. Such a beautiful voice.
One of the best, thanks.
Clearly, I have offended you, my firend. I apologize.
I never meant to make fun of Pavarotti. I think he's one of the greatest vocalists of all time. I was trying to keep things light and came across as disrespectful. I have deep regard for him and for you and the contributions you make to our site.

x2
I echo John's comment. I actually was making good natured fun of he and I playing at being mindless musical misfits.....just having a laugh at our own expense. No disrespect to the legend Pavarotti...or Mick Jagger for that matter. On a lighter note....a few months back I did take a good natured poke at Tiny Tim's musical abilities, but got no feedback from anyone....odd??
Thanks Gents, lets move on.

Sorry I missed that Jack. I was tending to my tulips that day.
silver threads and golden needles can not mend this heart of mine...I like this...
although my favorite music is quite different....
She's great and looks lovely. Remember her time with the Stone Pony's.
Different Drum is another of her songs I enjoy too.
From, wikipedia, it states that Silver Threads was first recorded by the irrepressible Rock a Billy sound bomb, Wanda Jackson in 1956. British singer, Dusty Springfield released this song in 1962 that was hugely popular at the time.
+1 Me too.
