This always remarkable, often touching, series has finally come to an end..........in all,10 seasons presented over the last 19 years

....Season 10 was followed by a Christmas special and then a wrap up review titled "Farewell Doc Martin"......if you can keep a dry eye though the last two presentations, "come through" and we`ll check to see if your heart needs tuning

Great program. I’m very sorry to see it ending.

I visited Port Isaac in Cornwall, called Portwenn in the TV series. It was fun to walk around the village and see all the locations used in the program, a real treat.

David;  Did you by chance visit St. Ives in Cornwall?  I have stayed there in B&Bs on three occasions and love it!

Yes Jack. I did not stay overnight like you but I have visited on several occasions. It is a beautiful spot. I’ve stayed at Tintagel, Looe and Foley overnight. Lots of interesting choices in Cornwall.
