Red, or is that because I expect it to be red?

P.S.  Did we ever find out why you call your friend Four ?  Tony's African friends must be getting through mountains of popcorn whilst we wait.

Hint: Enlarge the pic as much as you can and zero in on the can.

Here's the answer to the color of the can. Scroll down. Then enlarge the video by clicking on it.

@sizedoesmatter I don't think you're alone in that assessment John.

I only see black and white when enlarged. No red?

@jkuvakas
I suspect the green in the picture plays tricks with our eye and brain to create the red effect.

@david-green As you'll doubtless know, Red, Yellow, and Blue are Primary colours with Orange, Green and Purple being Secondary colours, (a combination of the two Primaries either side).  In art-speak, the opposing Primary and Secondary colours are called Opposite Colours: Orange/Blue, Purple/Yellow and in the present case Red/Green. And exactly as you say, the optical illusion is created by the green overall hew.  For me, it's still red, despite the science!

@charles-rockett Charles, agree. Most will not see it enlarged. Red it is. Smile

Hmmm.....this is confusing....red is red, just check any Duff beer can for proof.  I only got taught primary colors I guess.  Seconday colors were taught after grade 7 I assume; I had my Attendance Certificate by then.
