From where I'm setting it looks like the capacity is for six people. That's the same capacity of most full size 4 door cars from that era. So what's the point of this six door car, faster entry and exit for six people? I'll pass on this one, thank you.

 

 

Yep it's made for faster entry and exit especially when you're doing those Chinese Fire Drills. Jjust look at it, there's only two bucket seats across. That Mercury must be very narrow. As a matter of fact that's what I'm going to name it,  the Mercury Arrow.

Come on gentlemen you can't miss that one by a country mile... it's got to be the 'Monkeyettes'.

Add a fringed canvas roof to it and call it a Mercury Jolly.
