I would stick with the original 2 door version.
@carsman1958 FOMOCO did a great job with this Lincoln Continental series; my favorite by far is the original 1969. My late father-in-law had one and I drove it a lot.
@chris, the red Mark V is gorgeous, but I think it is a coupe, not a convertible.

@jkuvakas I looked closely to ensure this Lincoln had a true B-pillars (I swear the factory fakes had actual posts ) and I know some Bill Bass editions were sent out to be converted into real convertibles.... HOWEVER.... the more I look, YOU ARE correct.

The FLAT, straight "belt line" is the real key, on true 'verts there's a bit of an arch or "shoulder" that I SHOULD'VE noticed. 🤨 🤨
I'd take the estate wagon, without the phony wood trim. It's clean and you can haul a bunch of stuff in the back. Maybe even a VW bug, in case I run out of gas...
