IMO it is DDG but way too big for anything I wanna drive. I have to say that I think that this is one of the most beautiful Cadillac styling that i’ve ever seen .👍

This Cadillac could be the new “standard of the World”. OMG, isn’t this just freakin gorgeous ??? IMO, this puts EVERY other automobile design in the trash..😎
Both are beautiful designs and I'm more of a convertible nut, like Chris, so the Sollei would be the best option, though it could be improved with the paint from John's Cadillac.
If Cadillac made that car as a gas-powered vehicle, they would sell every unit they made. They are intent on selling nothing but electric. However, recently, they have announced a willingness to entertain the second generation XT5, that only China now has, but for here in the US. So time will tell if they have truly come to their senses or if they are still drinking the Kool Aid.

@gdh Lords knows I'm not necessarily a fan of all-yellow cars, in fact, that's why I sold my '59 CDV - because it was the "wrong color" - Gotham Gold (yellow ). But this "yellow" I think I could handle. 😉 😉
For some reason, I've always had a thing for "yellow leather" - don't ask me why. (silver leather too - like in late '70's Vettes )

Cadillac has been very successful selling EVs - which is the future, like it or not. Perhaps a few more ICE vehicles are in the mix, but I would guess that anything intended for the "ultra luxury class" will be EV only. 😏 😏
As for the XT5, it's my understanding that the 2026 design, shown in China, will ultimately come to the U.S., with slightly more improvements, as the new 2028 XT5.
You will get another crack at an "ICE" XT5; just be patient! 😉 😉
Again, I suggest pro-EV companies do their homework. Most of the ingredients needed to construct an electric car are mined in less-than-stable political environments and, on top of that China is a financial partner in many international mining companies, and as they become harder to find one can only surmise China will be keeping these resources for their own vehicles. EVs are very interesting and I'm not opposed to them, but as many countries have implemented plans to go all in, nobody has sorted out how to maintain a supply chain, and review the impact on cultures and environments where the rare minerals are mined.
@gdh ...they will, by hook or crock, sooner or later, one way or another.
In 100 years, ICE will still be around, but EVs will dominate..... then it will be hydrogen's turn to take center stage in all vehicles, not just large trucks & semis.

I've been following the XT5 Gen 2 closely. It was actually introduced to the Chinese market as a 2025 model. Then they extended the 'death' of the Gen 1 car here in the US and made it with little to no changes for 2026 and is currently available as such. And you're 100% right Chris, the 2nd Gen is slated for here as a 2027. But as yet, they haven't stated if a v6 will be available; the Chinese XT5 only has the turbo 4. But I'm happy with mine, do not like the 2nd Gen car at all.
