Gotta agree with Jack Dodds. This one doesn't flow well at all and the sail panels are the culprits.

I worked at a Mercury-Lincoln dealership in 1969 servicing cars and this particular Mercury seemed to polarize opinion; both in styling and the matte black rear deck.  Personally I liked it a lot.

@frank Fore River Motors wasn't exactly prompt with updating signage.  The pic is 1965 or later yet they are still flying Edsel and Comet neon.  Great pic, thanks for sharing.
