Careful with that link John.

I clicked on it and it came up wanting me to download a flash player to see it. It looked kind of whacky and I did not want to get hacked so I deleted the link thru my computer's task master so I would not have to click on anything to get rid of it.

The link take you to Hulu, a well known and safe site for videos, movies and TV.

Larry, you may want to consider updating your flash player. Your caution is wise and warranted but Hulu is not a threat.

John, My Adobe Flash Player is up to date...15.0.0.152 as of 9/14/14.

It was asking me to download and install a flash player that was update version 10.something and I knew mine was more current than that. That is why I posted what I did so others would know.

Must be some glitch between the browser and Hulu.

The glitch just may be Hulu.

My Adobe Reader was last updated yesterday and my Java Script was last updated on 8/6/14. And my IE11 browser is always current. All my stuff is current including two security programs that are updated constantly if not daily. That is why I know it is not me that has glitch.

I just had a technician overhaul my computer. One of the things I know is that my flash player is up to date, but that site asked me to download the program too.

I would like to second the recommendation. Not coming down on you, just asking you to be careful what you post.

Just an FYI, I was taken directly to the video on Hulu...

I'm using Safari on a Mac, maybe it's an IE issue? I didn't post this to stir up any Mac/PC discussions, simply to point out that I didn't experience the problem the others were speaking of.

Careful? C'mon guys! Let's not get too paranoid with an overreaction.

I don't see how "being careful" is possible especially if it's a respected site with no problems for the poster. I didn't have any problems opening and viewing the video and it's the kind of video that I could have easily posted it too. Of course, we all should be vigilant but in this case I don't see how taking any extra precautions could possibly apply when there was no indication of a problem.

Also, sometimes there are conflicts with software that creates unforeseen problems with browsers. It could be a myriad of issues like a firewall setting, to a corrupted file. There is always a cause for the problem but often not worth the energy to determine what it is. I agree that if you already have the most current flash player, it seems odd that it would ask for another. However, we've all seen very odd behavior out of these machines that are pushed to the limit with technological expectations.

Not an IE issue. I watched it through my AOL account which uses IE. No problems.

I just got naked women in their 80's & 90's dancing to Guy Lombardo's version of 'rap' in the city

I hate when that happens

Trusted website or not.....

When I click on a link and it tells me that I will need a flash player to see the video and that I don't have a flash player on my computer and to download and install a flash player that is five or more upgrades to the rear of the one I actually have installed I considered it to be a virus/hack thing. So I got rid of it and decided to post a careful post.

This could have been a hidden rider within the video that even Hulu missed. It happens all the time.

That's how I got There. More...

I get that "update Flash" (and some others updates) when surfing and NEVER follow the links, I also am on a Mac/Safari. I'm set up to have Updates come thru a filter of sorts and can track it to it's source. When I found this link/story, there was no update window.++++++
