4 cool cars but side by side or standing alone that GTO is a killer!

I really like two of these. The GTO is one of my favourites from this period but I have to go for the Malibu SS ahead of it. I owned this in convertible form for66 with very fond memories.
Oh My john! you're in prime form this Sunday!
I've owned a different year form of all but the Buick. I actually love all four. But top choice goes to GTO, then Malibu SS, 442 and the GS very close behind.
Superb! For me, they're all pretty close. I vote GTO for all it stands for, followed by the SS, the GS, and the 442.

Pontiac love it, Buick love it, Oldsmobile like it, Chevrolet don't care for it.
The torque monster Buick Nail Head 401 for me. My first new car was a 1966 version. If you never driven one, you have no idea what what torque feels like when you depress the go pedal. Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Chevy.
GTO, Olds 442, Chevelle Malibu and Buick in that order for me but they are all cars that I would love to own. What a great year for GM!
All are prime specimens for that year but I have a fixation on the Z16 Chevelle SS. The Buick, Pontiac and Oldsmobile follow in that order. Thanks, John, these are beautiful examples of the best of the lot, in 1965!
@sizedoesmatter I would be proud to have any one of these, I had the GOAT (in the same color) and I would choose that one today as well! I put Cragars on mine, if I had it to do over I think poverty caps look killer on this model. Legendary post John!
