I will forever miss Whitewalls. And lower fenders over the tires too. I've never understood why today's automakers think every car should have the wheel wells rounded out and the entire tire and much of the underneath of the car showing. Not a pretty sight to my eyes. My four collector cars each have different width whitewalls. Starting with my 55 Imperial with it's wide whitewalls, my 61 Corvette with it's 2 1/2 inch whitewalls, my 63 Thunderbird with it's 1 inch whitewalls and my 79 Lincoln Continental Mark Five with it's 1/2 inch whitewalls. To me, having the correct whitewalls makes all the difference in a collector car looking correct to the eye.

Bob, we agree....incorrect width whitewalls are a pet peeve of mine.
