The last of the American CARS I could enter & exit easily & have enough leg room in. 4 doors, the doors are too short in length and the 2 doors are too short in height. That is why I drove trucks for years [not to mention, the companies I worked for gave them to me] and then to SUV's in retirement.

I have owned the sister to the El Dorado a STS and had 2 Mk VII's, a base model and then a Bill Blass edition. They were fun to drive.

I will never buy another sedan because they are too hard for me to get into and out of. Our daily driver is a Nisson Murano which answers our needs perfectly. Our other cars are a 2001 Crown Victoria which is comfortable but hard for me for the reasons stated above. My 61 Corvette is almost impossible for the reasons stated above. My 55 Imperial is easy and very roomy but the best of the lot is my 63 Thunderbird with its swing away steering wheel...I simply sit down in the car and slide the wheel in front of me.
