So sweet to see such a compatible couple!

Oh, sure! But what happens when he sees the light and they break up? What is she left with? Just a measly $14.5 million.

Yeah; the poor little thing. She'll need plenty of consolation! And maybe a new diamond bracelet.Oh, sure! But what happens when he sees the light and they break up? What is she left with? Just a measly $14.5 million.
I say it once again....there's no fool like an old fool.
@jack-dodds, Hmmm...is this from personal experience? I'm rather fond of believing I am uniquely foolish, but I have little data to go on.

@jkuvakas Like most of us, I have made some humdinger mistakes in life, (some I even learned from...lol), but fortunately nothing as dumb or embarrassing as the old guy at the pool. Aside from having the bare minimum of common sense not to go there, I was never motivated to anyway; mainly because I had neither the looks or wealth to play the game.
sigh......
@bob-jackman LOL. Your ham sandwich comment triggered a distant memory from a chapter in the Joseph Wambaugh book The New Centurions (or was it The Choirboys?). I'll leave it at that.
I have known 3 couples that the husband was 20+- years older than the wife, all was great when he was 50 and she was 30 but when he was 70 and she was 50 all three came apart. One he died at 69 the other two ended in divorce, she still wanted excitement [go out dancing] and he wanted to go to bed [to sleep]. Money not involved, all three were comfortable [not wealthy].
@jack-dodds, *sigh* I hear ya. For me, I was born with amazing good looks but no money...it's a curse, but I have learned to live with it.

....what money can't buy; it can rent. - For all you older gentlemen with fat portfolios; just some sage advice from ..... The Twilight Zone. 😉 😉 😏
I'm not sure either of them knows what love really is. Their tomorrows will forever search for it.

Rent is better than buying...After the rental term is over, she leaves...In affect with a rental you're paying for her to leave...so I'm told!"Who said money can't buy happiness?"
