@jcarnutz, I think this is a good strategy. You keep it long enough to get familiar but not too long if you don't like it. I'm going to bet the residual on the electric 150 is going to be sky high at the outset making for a relatively inexpensive lease.

I’ve been thinking about it. I need to replace my F150 and there is a new electric version coming soon. I would probably lease it 1st to see how it goes. Easier to get rid of if I don’t like it.
How do you figure, John? A lease obligates you to make all payments for the entire term. Even if you want to turn the car in early, you're on the hook for the remaining monthly payments.

@duncan At this point I can't see man living without electricity and the toxic waste from that has over a 100 year shelf life. But do we have to pollute the air too?
