Ordered from an extremely reputable company in the beginning of July. Said 21 business days for delivery. See it's in Cali on July 31. Since then no movement and no updates. Contacted seller twice and the second time kindly offered a refund. Just sad that it wasn't pursued as to why no movement. For me I would be on that carrier as this costs sales.

It seems all of my waiting was in vain and my money sat for no reason !

Seems that that company isn’t as reputable as you thought. 👎

it's sort of like they gave up trying to be the company I remember them for.

It does get frustrating. I'm tracking an item now. It started out from Connecticut, went to Columbus, Ohio, it shows it now in Indianapolis, just to come BACK to Ohio. How efficient is that FedEx?🥴🤦‍♂️

Welcome to the new world. We old timers/boomers, remember a time when the USPS used to advertise that neither snow, ice, wind, rain, hurricanes and tornadoes, highwaymen, gunslingers and stage coach robbers, never dissuaded the appointed rounds of the US Postal Department. OK, I went a little overboard but there were times when this was actually the scenario.

The times they are a 'changin' said Bob Dylan and though I never liked him, he was right.

Our postman can't read, he routinely delivers mail to the people down the lane and they bring me my mail more often than he does. I don't feel bad cause I deliver their mail that he brings to me. They send me Informed Delivery each day so I know what to expect in my rural mailbox. But I don't. It shows zero mail, I get 8 pieces. It shows 6 pieces, I get one. Who knew where my bills went; no one else paid them so I took substantial time years ago, to set up paying online and through my bank.

I get delivery notice that my parcel has been delivered. Really? well, not to my house, it wasn't. Back in the day, people who earned a living did it with grace, pride and efficiency. I worked as if my clients were related to me and I would see them each weekend for Sunday dinner. Integrity. It was my byword and I lived by it. Today people work via "ease". Chaos is like an extra tip for them.

I'll only buy when the item in in the US and I can pay extra for FedEx or UPS. USPS, especially when free and via Pony Express, is like kissing Satan himself - I don't do it. Yeah Dylan was right and I don't like it!

OMG Gino; you've hit a nerve Pard! I have had items via USPS go from Alabama, one state south of me, to New England, get sidetracked to the West Coast, to North Carolina, less than 40 minutes away from me (no exaggeration) to the Mid West before seeing it come back to the south again over a week later. It should have arrived with state decals on 3/4ths of the package!! AARRRGGGHHHH!

ALL  I know is this:

As Tony mentioned, for as good as "USPO advanced delivery notification,"  package updates, and tracking emails & TEXTS are today, MANY mistakes still occur.

Literally, less than 15 minutes ago an Amazon  package, that I was informed was NOT EVEN "out for delivery,"  just arrived!    😯 😯 😯

The left hand is not talking to the right!

But to your point Ben:

A few years ago, my best friend (who passed last year ) and I could NEVER figure out what AliExpress  was up to!

Each of us would place orders, our money was accepted, est. delivery dates were given, then we would wait 4 - 7 weeks for NOTHING!   At the last minute, our money was refunded with NO explanation - ever!

This happened to me 4 times, and about 6 for Jerry.    We could NEVER figure out what they were doing with our money AND why it took SO LONG to issue refunds.

Did American money earn better interest?      Were they temporarily using American money because of greater exchange rates?      Was communication so poor that it took 7 weeks to issue refunds?

Like you - we were baffled.     🤨 🤨 🤨 🤨

@chris I've got nothing and at this point I am just tired and frustrated. I just need to step back for a minute and let these shipping companies figure out what they are doing !!!!

@chris you did, well just to clarify after me harassing them their response was to refund me. Then if it ever shows I can then pay them for it. As nice as that sounds it's still an issue as I want that model I've ordered more then the money !!!!!!

There's always a very good chance it will be delivered here by accident. If so, I know two guys who will be glad to drive it straight to you!

Take your pick - Jimmy Jake drives an old rice-burning Toyonda. It's pretty fast; a Toyota front clip and motor and a Honda back end. Or Jeff Badgass who drives a 65 GTO. 421 mill with dual quads. Your choice.
