I have always wanted to come up with a way to integrate models, while still on the base, into a diorama (so I don't have to handle them) and I have come up with this: a Paris street with cars loaned out from the Retro Mobile show to "spread the word" and maybe drum up interest amongst Parisians and tourists. Starting with an overview of part of the "storefront" diorama and and a wide view of a 1949 Delahaye 135MS Roadster Saoutchik followed by a closeup of the signage. Exhibited today are the 1932 Duesenberg Model J Torpedo Berline di Rollston, including a photo of the 1:1 and the 1939 Delahaye 135M cabriolet by Chapron, chassis #60139, including a photo of the 1:1. Models are by Ilario.

That looks great ! It is an excellent way to display your model automobiles in such a way that highlights the designs very well. Extremely cool way to show all this off.
Roger, I'm in awe! What an incredible project, both concept and execution. Brilliant work, thanks for sharing with us.
BEAUTIFULLY Done! One of the finest 1/43rd dioramas I have seen.
Very inspiring; thanks Roger!!
The guy looking at the Delahaye 135M looks like Enzo.
Nice work. I have also wondered about leaving models on their bases for photographing them in dioramas. Thanks for showing what you did.
