Neat!    Wouldn't be Christmas without trains!  😀 😀

Been a fan of trains of every scale for, well, life! We're up the hill and a mile away from the RR crossing and dearly love to hear that diesel's horn!

Frank, thanks for photos. I always enjoy seeing model trains, along with model cars and planes. Here are a few photos of my train layout where I combine all three.

@ed-davis Wow, how neat & tidy!  😎 😎 😎

Are you really running S-gauge (1/64) equipment.  Your trains do NOT appear to be H.O. scale.

@chris

They are S scale (1/64). The diecast planes are 1/72 scale. Layout size is 10 ft x 6.5 ft.

@ed-davis Awesome!  S-scale & 1/64 cars is perfect!    I knew the planes were smaller, but still cool to see on your layout.  😎 😎 😎

@geoff-jowett that was hand built from scratch (not a kit). By a fellow who’s widow donated to our model train museum that is just in startup mode.   I have been helping the museum dismantle and box some of these “O” scale buildings for future display.  The cars are 143.

Ed, what's the building to the left of the Galaxy Diner?

@bob-jackman

The building is Platt Bros Auto Parts. I made it from a resin kit. The two parked diecast cars in front of the building are a 1969 Cougar Eliminator made by Ertl and a 1967 Chevelle made by Racing Champions. The Chevelle was made in 1999, and the Cougar was probably made about 20 years ago. I am adding a few more pictures of the train layout.
