A very nice, atmospheric image, and interesting to see the two halves separated in this way.

...right, it adds to the realism.  Rarely, do candid shots beautifully feature an entire car's profile.   IMO, this is one of Mike's better pics.  😎 😎

Sometimes, if done right, a vignette is more powerful than the entire scene. This is such a case in point. The main focus of the photographer seems to be the wood-rimmed entrance of this brick building and, indeed, the brightly lit 'Entrance' sign.

The vignette of the left car rear and right car front frame the composition and the vignette of the Chevrolet sign, cut off from its identification, solidify the view as a mysterious, though well lighted street scene.

I agree with your assessment Charles and with you Chris. And also agree that it very well may be one of his best ever!

This is one of my favorite 1/18 pics.   As Tony eloquently put it, sometimes it's more about nothing  than something; less is more.  😎

Thanks ! Model automobiles make great subjects and the scene of Chris's cars show this really well.

The 1/18 cars in the garage scene are a Highway 61 Plymouth Belvedere II and a Yat Ming 1966 Dodge Charger.
