The Pembroke chapel I have been working on needed an accessory, so I found a 1/35 figure I could put together, to make a sculpture of Jasper Lee's great-great-grandfather, Ebeneezer Pembroke, at one time a soldier in His Majesty's army.  After the tea fiasco was sorted out, he remained in the country and settled in Louisiana, just outside what would become the village of Metairie.

The model chosen was the soldier on the cover of the box, which was about fifteen pieces.  I used Tamiya bronze X33 paint for the final color and I would like to do a lighter color, but the figure would lose more of its detail if I add more paint, so I'll put the brush down and go with what I've got.  Pics are before, during, and a final pic of the sculpture situated inside the chapel.  Feedback is always welcome.

I think it looks phenomenal! Everything from the stairs you showed us in stages, to the statue to the intricate wall design, looks museum quality.

...that's pretty damn good!   It makes a fine presentation, congrats!     ...and yes, never be afraid to use WHAT works, regardless the source.    😉 😉 😉

Thank you, gentlemen, and we are nearing the final stage, which I hope to complete this weekend.
