Great kit. Parts fit well, nice model to make up. Except, on opening the box it was actually the 1911 ICM model I have already completed some months back. The model is made and sold from Ukraine, so I'm not complaining, I've just made it up as straightforward repaint. Hopefully the 1913 version does exist as it shows some nice subtle differences between the 1911 model. Squared fenders rather than rounded, black tyres, 'tool box' on the running board and an external brass tubed horn.
Heres the earlier version in green
Kit came with 2 great figures. Shown on the front of the box. I didnt realise that to fit the female driver she needed to be added as the model was being completed. Also of course I have to paint them which could be messy!
I've had a go at couple of Citroen 1/24s previously and they have been fine to complete. This one however had very poor fitting doors and roof. I've done the best I can with it. Must say the gold line decals are a great addition

Wow, all great models. I particularly thank you for posting your Ford Speedsters (love the figures ).
For many years, I've REALLY struggled with the wheels on my, otherwise terrific, 1/18 Speedster. Simply put, they're terrible! 😬 😬 😬Â
The model deserves MUCH BETTER wheels. I could re-spoke them using IN SCALE spokes but I KNOW how long that will take (too lazy ). Until I saw your model, I never once considered using wooden Model T wheels. Thanks!
The figures in the Model T kit are a nice addition and the decals in the Citroen kit are a necessary detail IMO. Nice work Geoff.

thanks Bob. Just have to try and paint them, then find a proper spot for them. Appreciate your supportive comments.
@chris thanks Chris I'm sure you would have your own successful techniques but to create a wooden affect I'll start with a brownish color coat then apply a timber affect paint, then use the real wood stain. Although for the timber on the Roadster I just used the timber affect paint on the grey plastic, but on the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen, and most other models, I started with a paint coat.

@geoff-jowett All excellent advice (thanks!) ...but I can do better than that!
You'll notice in my reply I posted 3 pics. The 3rd pic has the correct 12-spoke wooden wheels I would need to make MY 1/18 Speedster look like YOUR 1/24 Speedster.Â
Luckly, I have several junk Model Ts and could easily pirate those 12-spoke wheels, but I no longer have a set of that wheel shown in my post.
I'll figure out something (including buying another model just to get those wheels).
Those are great-looking models, Geoff ! Given what the Ukrainians are going through right now, I also would also quite certainly give them a pass, and especially with these being such terrific models.(and I hope Vlad Sorokolat and his family are OK)
All of these replicas are beautifully done and in really good colors, too.

thanks Mike. Yes in this case ICM and their selling agents need encouragement and support for continuing in business. thanks for your comments re the models

thanks Chris, couldnt do any harm trying to paint effect the wheels to see how they turn out?
