Here is a picture of a Dodge dreamcar from the early 1950's. It looks great and there is a pretty gal model at the controls. Soon styling would definitely play a greater role in Chrysler Corporation concepts, something that led to many sensational automotive designs.

It does somehow remind me of the '54 Royal Lancer.

Lol , it is a good-looking dreamcar from Dodge/Chrysler Corp. And I do hope it is sitting at rest in Chrysler's photographic studios so the gal can look back at the camera in that white, featureless environment !

She is certainly dressed to the max with a stylish hat, gloves and what looks like a Star-Trek tri-corder around her neck. With that sleek Dodge, she is certainly ready to travel in outer space, as with many other dreamcars at that time. Roll

One of the better-looking concept cars of the time.

It does look very good, Bob ! I doubt it is still around but I would guess it might have the Dodge Red Ram V-8 under the hood.

I understand some of the GM and other concepts and dreamcars were actually only "pushers" that didn't always have a working engine inder the hood.

@michaeldetorrice That's true Mike. There were a few that escaped the crusher that later were motorized.

Bob, that's a good point that not only were some concept and dreamcars from GM, Ford and Chrysler ultimately saved from the crusher, but several were later fully motorized with an engine. They are a part of automotive history.
