I may have posted this before but I can be kinda forgetful nowadays ! Anyway, this is a photograph from our old family archives of my maternal Grandmother behind the wheel of a (then quite modern !) automobile.
Does anyone perhaps know what automobile she may be driving. I believe this was in the Chicago area in the early 1920's.
Well, it doesn't look like Pasadena and the car is surely not a Super Stock Dodge but the photo cannot be any cooler! LOVE her controlled smile!!
She needs to wear a Captain's hat to operate that long barge. Imagine trying to parallel park it!
Lol, it would be quite a handful and in those pre-power steering days, all the more so for my Grandma ! I don't know what automobile that is but it's pretty big and I would definitely not want to do any parallel parking with it.
A great picture Mike. My mother's mother never drove a car but she and her husband owned a 1924 Buick I'm told.

1916-1918 Buick Touring
Thanks, Chav ! That does look like a vintage Buick. It is a big automobile but my Grandma looks comfortable behind the wheel of that one.
