This is an old Exhibitor Pass that was in my Dad's items from many years ago. Is that a Fiat X/1 9 that is possibly depicted on his pass from 1976 ? Fiat was one of his clients.

Cool ! The DeLorean featured those neat gull-wing doors. Since the DeLorean starred in "Back to the Future", I guess just about any year for this transportation would be correct, lol ! Wink

I'm going with the Mercedes C111, the profile and year match well. This is my Norev.

I agree with Paul. The DeLorean came after ‘76. The C111 pretty much perfectly fits the profile of the automobile on the pass. Just my opinion.

the Fiat X/19 in profile, suggesting Paul is correct. Love seeing your dads auto memorabilia Mike.

@paul-rouffa   I've never seen one of those before, 1:1 or other.  I like it.

@gdh

Man, I have and fell in love with it. I totally forgot about it but completely agree with Paul, it looks like a match to the pass!

@gdh Here's my original post about the car history and the model: https://diecast.org/community/1_18/1970-mercedes-benz-c111-ii-wankel-by-norev/#post-212422

@perrone1 Wow, they look closer than I was thinking. Though the Delorean Motor Company was founded in 1975, the first prototype didn't appear until October 1976, a few months after the LA Expo.

@paul-rouffa

I totally forgot the C111 when looking at the pass, even though I have loved that car forever. I even had a 1/18th of it - not sure now who made it. But the Delorean immediately hit my mind and I didn't bother to check what year it actually was produced.

@perrone1 I've always loved the C111 too, and I'm jealous you saw it in person. You may have had the Guiloy. I'm glad Norev came out with theirs because it has much more engine detail.

Closest to the C III but I think it was just a sketch not of a particular car.
