Here are some pictures of a unique Buick automobile that was featured in a parade in Detroit circa 1946. It is part Buick and part spaceship !

@geoff-jowett The idea, of course, was to duplicate an actual '46 Buick hood ornament. In 1946, GM ruled the world - they could do no wrong!
In 2025, however, GM had global sales of 5.9 million vs. Toyota's 11.3
GM (#5 ) is shrinking globally while Toyota (#1 ) continues to grow; it's a rotten shame that GM made so many costly & foolish mistakes throughout the past few decades. And currently, as predicted, all this tariff-idiocy isn't helping ANY domestic OEM. Therefore, expect to see further sales declines for GM in 2026.

What do you mean rare? I had three neighbors with them and there were five on the next block.
