I still have some of the track, cars and controllers for the Aurora Model Motoring my Mom and Dad got me for Christmas back in the 1960's.
This is one of the automobiles I have in Aurora's "Super" Model Motoring which I believe was about 1/48 scale and bigger than the regular size sets.
These are a few quick phone-camera snaps of one of the cars I still have ...... I think it is a 1932 hot-rodded V-8 coupe. I also still have another chopped Ford coupe, an early Thirties Ford pickup and a couple of 1957 Chevrolet 2-door coupes.
Wow! Now that's VINTAGE Aurora. It's unreal you still have it - in remarkable condition! I have a 1960's slot car book that features these. Very cool! 😎

One of my favorite books of all time.....
- Recognize anything?
Did you realize your '32 Ford had a broken bumper? Remember how it was damaged?
I don't remember how the bumpers on the chopped '32 Fords were damaged, but I still have two of those cars and I believe both are missing the outside part of these front and rear chrome bumpers.
I have most of the track still around and three controllers : two that are shaped like steering wheels and one that is a plunger-type hand controller.
I sure had fun with that slot car racing set .... especially the squeeze track section where careful timing could send your racing opponent flying off the track, lol !
