Lol, I thought I posted this a day or so ago but I don't think it actually went up ! If it is a re-post I apologize.
Here is a larger scale gasoline pump diecast model in perhaps 1/10 scale. It was available at a Menards Home Center many years back for a low price and it looks very good. It was made by Gearbox Collectibles.
I have also posed it quickly next to another vintage gasoline pump that is closer to perhaps 1/18 scale or so made by Road Signature/Yat Ming.
They both are really nice for display or photography.
excellent contribution Mike. I think its great the way pumps, bikes, caravans, trailers, wagons, tools, boats and other diorama materials can 'breakup' a model car display. I'm only missing 1 or 2 of Danburys 1/24 pump collection.
Thanks, Geoff ! That sounds like you have quite a fine collection of 1/24 scale gasoline/petrol pumps.
I have an Oldsmobile pump just like the one I posted and also an older pump used in the 1920's and 1930's. Such items can add interest and generally a lot to any display or for a photograph.
Yep, gotta love gas pumps. I don't own any real ones but have several in 1/18 scale. 😎 😀 I remember these Gearbox pumps, if you lift the handle you'll see a coin slot. They're banks that can be accessed from the bottom.
Arguably, the Danbury Mint produced some of the best gas pump replicas which included working lights & sound!
