Here are some stickers I have from my Dad's items that include these engine air cleaner stickers that indicated what was operating just below. These were probably used for final application after an engine was prepped for various auto show displays. Perhaps you may recall some of these motivator labels.
Thanks ! When I was a fairly new driver, I recall taking my Dad's big Pontiac Granville 4 door sedan in for gasoline at the service station. Normally, the 1971 Pontiac (with a 455 4-barrel but a single exhaust) I think put out about 325 gross horsepower.
But I had put a Chevrolet 454 V-8 sticker with a 3×2 or 4 barrel carburetor and about 435 hp on the air cleaner. When the service station attendant checked the oil his eyes widened and he clearly thought this was some powerful secret GM power-house he was actually dealing with, lol !
