In 1933-1934 Chicago held the giant Century of Progress World's Fair along it's Lake Michigan waterfront. There were some fantastic exhibits and Art Deco motifs and displays were prominent. I understand there were many transportation themed exhibits.
I believe the Cadillac Aerodynamic, the sleek Pierce-Arrow and the new Studebakers were automotive stars along with other vehicles, like the glass Nash moving automobiles tower. There was a Chrysler auto thrill track and the Ford Rotunda I believe made it's first appearance here.
My Grandparents and my Mom and uncles attended the event, which lasted over two summer seasons in 1933-1934.
Many American automobile manufacturers featured their products as did gasoline and tire manufacturers.
My Grandfather took some early Agfa film movies and many years ago I did some very low-quality "frame grabs" from the film that still exists.
One image shows the Sinclair Gasoline moving full-size dinosaurs from the "Coal/gas Age" and one shows the Goodyear Tire blimp.
Mike, I hope you can post the whole video sometime.

I would like to display some of my model cars in a scale version of the moving Nash glass "Tower of Automobiles"!
