GP Replicas Brings Back Senna’s McLarens and Schumacher’s F2002 — Diecast News Roundup, September 15
GP Replicas has listed twenty-four historic Formula One references for the first quarter of 2027 — Senna’s 1992 and 1993 McLarens, Schumacher’s F2002 in 1:12, Alboreto’s 156/85 and the Benetton B194. Tecnomodel has twenty of its own, twelve of them the 1965 Ford GT40 Roadster in six liveries across two scales. Also: BBR adds seven colours to the 812 GTS, KK-Scale has a 1957 Buick station wagon, and Mini GT opens six new pre-orders.
GLM and Stamp Models opened a joint pre-sale this morning covering nine references and not one European car among them: the 1989 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series in 1:18, a 1956 Chrysler New Yorker Convertible in 1:43, and the 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado in 1:43, all quoted for 10 November. KK-Scale added a second Lincoln in the same 24 hours, AUTOart announced the Aston Martin Vantage in two colours, and Minichamps moved its Verstappen RB22 hand sample up to 1:18.
Stamp Models announces the first die-cast model in its history, a 1:43 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, from a maker known for handmade resin. GH Model shows production samples of its 1:18 Ferrari 812 Superfast, capped at 40 pieces or fewer per colour. Spark returns the 2025 Verstappen Red Bull RB21 to production and adds a 24-car rally slate in 1:43.
