Now that truly is... "A Merry Oldsmobile". Fantastic shot Galen.
An important piece of American automobile history.
...well, this is a really nice pic, but I must admit - you have me stumped! It's rare that I'm not familiar with (whether I own it or not ) a particular scale model. I thought I knew about your Oldsmobile, but when I "searched," I couldn't confirm it.
Then I Googled various scales, years, "banks," and "decanters," but...... 🤔 🤔 🤨
Very cool old Olds replica !
I always wanted a decent model of the Curved Dash Oldsmobile. That looks pretty nice!
"That Curved Dash Oldsmobile looks pretty nice!"
Rich, do YOU know anything about that model? As I noted, I'm stumped. 🤨 🤔 😫
Certainly not your father's Oldsmobile...more like your great grandfather's Oldsmobile!

@chris I've only ever seen a cheap promo of the Curved Dash Olds. It came out the same time as these '49 and '50 88s. It may have been commissioned by the Oldsmobile Curved Dash Club for their anniversary (1908-2008). I remember it was rather crude so I passed. These are 1/25 diecasts issued in'08:
@rich-sufficool I don't even remember that curved-dash model, but I do remember the '49 & '50. This vintage Aurora kit is my only memory of a curved-dash model.
