We could spend the rest of the year discussing the entire 1957 Chrysler line-up and their influence on the industry, etc., etc., etc. The fact that this magnificent looking dream boat was in the "low priced field" made it even more extraordinary. 😉
Decades ago, I did several quick enhancements to this Anson 1957 Plymouth Fury - obviously, there's much more that could be done. One day, I suppose.... 🙄 🙄
Loved that car back then - looks every bit as good today! GREAT model and photography!
It looks excellent ! I also have the MotorMax 1957 Plymouth Fury and it is a favorite. It pairs nicely with Ertl's 1958 Plymouth Belvedere which I am also delighted to have.
I too loved the style but not the build quality. A neighbor bought one new and three years later there was barely any sheet metal left in the rockers and behind the rear wheel cut outs. I have models of these in 1/43, 1/24 and 1/18 scales.
I just saw a youtube article about how Chrysler messed up big-time with that rust issue. Very informative !!

@bob-jackman ...yes, quite true. That's why my "rock solid" '57 Dodge from Hawaii was such a joy - one could eat off the inside of the fenders, smooth as the day it rolled off the assembly line. 😉 😉
