This Cadillac looks superb ! It may have some non-opening features but the shut-lines should quite fantastic. I am not a purist and I certainly would be happy to obtain just about any model car I like and can afford.
As I have mentioned recently, I don't like the styling of this car and consider it the least attractive Caddy built post war through 1970......but I definitely will buy it because of its place in automotive styling history. Gotta have it in the display cabinet Cadillac lineup!
....well, I love it Jack. I kick myself in the *** everyday for selling my 1:1 '59 Coupe de Ville and despite the high MSRP, of this Stamper ...THIS resin might be my FIRST resin. 🤔 🤔 🤔Â
I commend you on your steadfast commitment to automotive history despite your personal views.Â
...nice comparison. THANKS!
The fender headlight over-hang might be a bit better represented on the Autoart (which I do have. Despite a few major flaws, is a very good model overall ). I once thought of making a hardtop (using 1/18 Sunstar '59 Oldsmobile parts ).Â
I wasn't certain that this blue '59 is 1/18, I thought it might be 1/43. Autoart did a great job with the wheels and the body's fit & finish. I really hope Stamp cuts those whitewall widths down... but I doubt they will. 🙄
