A car that was sort of the perfect transition between all the curvy & pointy-glitz of the 1950's and the straight-line, non-glitz of the 1960's.
This model has some nice touches: You'll note the roll-up windows, reflective (and accurate ) dash trim, bucket seat patterns on both front & back sides, clear & crisp engine compartment decals, nicely done wheels, and of course ALL that great looking side "cladding." 😎 😎 😎
Terrific looking model - love the Starfire!
Having owned two 62 Starfire hardtops in 1/1 scale, I have to say these models are beautifully done. I have the maroon as well was the black models shown and several colors in 1/43 scale by Conquest.
What a great diecast model by Yat Ming ! I have this one as well as the black/white version and they are both wonderful replicas and excellent choices by YM subject wise.

Lucky you, Bob!
Surprisingly, between me & my best friend.... I don't think we've ever owned an Oldsmobile. Hmm.... 🤔 🤔 🤔
That's one heckuva really fine model! I'm so thrilled it did justice to the 1:1 which is a really fine automobile!
