This 1973 Porsche Carrera 2.7 RS was the fastest and most powerful of the 1st gen 911s and the first race worthy after 10 years that could be sold to the public although without any emission controls, it wasn't street legal in the US until a generation later. With its light weight, flared fenders and duck-tail spoiler, its more powerful engine couple propel it from 0-60 in 5.9 and a top end of 150.
I like this AUTOart variant because it doesn't have that huge "CARRERA" stripe on its flanks and it looks pretty badass in a Hugger Orange type finish
@gavin I have the Jouef in 1/43. It's got a heckuva parts count for such a little guy.
Rich, Gavin...
These are pretty schweeeet 911s. I remember these as a little kid and laughing at those "funny" wheels. "Why do they look like daisies?" 🤔 🤔 LoL
Gavin, your interior shot of that Minichamps had me do a triple-take. You fooled me. I thought it was the real thing. 👍

Thanks @chris! I appreciate it.
@franklemire, that Sunoco 911 is fantatsic. That livery does look pretty much perfect on any car.
@gavin I agree that it is hard to beat the livery of the Penske Sunoco cars. It is also much more agreeable to me to have a sealed model of a 911 as long as I have a fully opening one.
