It looks good ! If you like the real car, I bet it is worth getting and enjoying. Wire wheels are always tricky, but that's understandable.
Well Larry, here's my two cents. The "build quality" of that Bburago is excellent. That is, fit & finish are actually very well done. The "problem" is that ALL detail is simplified, hence the SUPER LOW price. That adage, "You pay for what you get," is perfectly exemplified here.
The question for you, as the collector, is this: Can you live with "toy like" replication of certain areas on this model?
@larry-kemling ...as I noted, you have to decide if you can live with toy-like replication. Apparently, your answer is, "No." 🙄
Of course, in one way, all replicas, in essence, are toys. It generally just depends if someone wants to use it in a pejorative sense. If you like it, it's fine ! If you really don't want it in that price/detail range, that's ok, too but, just don't use if to put down someone's collection or their collecting habits and budget.
In many cases, a replica is only now available in a certain budget/detail range (high or low), so if you like it, right now a particular price type is currently what's available. If you want it, get it and enjoy the replica (or modify it !) Life is too short to agonize over the current reality.
Arguably, all "extras" in life are toys. Does one really need snowmobiles? Motorcycles? Five cars? Three homes? Two drum kits? etc., etc., ....
I certainly hope I didn't offend anyone.
All who collect, regardless the passion, have high-end as well as budget-pieces. I'm no exception.
As noted, one must decide if a toy-like replica is worth owning. Perhaps "plastic fenders" are a deal breaker, then again, perhaps not.
...and yes, life is short. 😔
@larry-kemling EXCELLENT!!
IMO, a MUCH BETTER purchase all the way around. Congratulations Larry! 😀 😀 Money well spent!
