The Ferrari and Team Lotus shelves are complete in the glass case, both have 4 cars each the Lotus display has a 1980 Lotus 87B which was run in the first race of the 1982 season then replaced by the Lotus 91. There are 3 Lotus 91's.Â
The Ferrari display has 2 1989 Ferrari 640 cars and 2 1990 Ferrari 641/2 cars.Â
Total cost for both shelves combined $6,900 dollars. Ouch. That covers the 8 cars, 2 trailers and 2 trucks. The figurines, tool boxes and jack stands not included in the total price. The most expensive car was the 1990 Ferrari 641/2 by Exoto, trying to find one without paint rash or any other defects was hard and of course the better the quality the higher the price, the one I found without any flaws was from Japan.Â

Man, these are such great displays! True, $6,900 is a fair amount but divided by 12 (counting your two trailers as vehicles ) that's $575 per model. A bit pricey, but not coo-coo-nutzo when you consider many Exotos &/or CMCs can fetch well north of that.Â
You could've spent this amount on a cruise, but then all you'd have are memories....  or 6, 7, or 8 times this amount for a wedding, just to have it end in divorce. So, enjoy your collection; I'll help you justify your expenditures. 😀 😀Â
It's a fantastic presentation!Â
What's next....all the prominent vehicles and the complete cast of Smokey and the Bandit? Where can we find 1/18 mid-1970's Pontiac Police cars, a red '74 Cadillac Eldorado, and a Paul Williams figure? 😀 😀Â
Worth every penny when it makes you happy! And I'd be very happy with your display! LOL! 😀Â
wow...those are seriously impressive displays. Congrats on completing them...has to be a great feeling seeing them in your case!
