Well that sure as hell wouldn't be the one I had... lol.
The hood scoop and fender extractors were white.
No 'chicken' on the hood and since it was a '70 it had low back bucket seats.
And the wheels were the regular 5 spoke with a trim ring...not those ugly ones pictured...lol.

@100ford2003 ....I'm NO expert on early Trans Ams, but if YOU had a factory-red 1970 Pontiac Trans Am...in 1970.... YOU had something VERY rare! 😎
Of course, since it isn't a written law somewhere that a diecast model can ONLY be made in what is claimed to be the "factory colors", then each collector can decide whether it's right for their collection or was actually legitimately done at the factory. And then you have dealer additions, special orders, restored cars, paint and colors used back in the day, modern tires/air inflation, etc, etc. it's clear there is really no right or wrong, only what you decide is good for your scale model automobile collection.

Ok Chris,
Stop adding to my lunacy...lol.
I'll have to take the time now to contact the people who will know.. hopefully...and then maybe we can trace the provenance of that Trans-Am.

@100ford2003 I wish you luck.... but prepare yourself for the truth. Sadly, many car guys (including me ) have let very valuable cars slip right through their fingers. Who knew, right?
